WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COACHING AND THERAPY?
A life coach is focused on moving forward, often hired to help or guide a client towards a goal, through a partnership. A therapist is more cleansing, doing work to help release energy of the past. Both are important, both are necessary at different points, but each requires their own set of skills, as well as different certifications and schooling.
WHAT IS THE COACHING PROCESS LIKE?
We start with a discover session where we can get to know eachother. Once we both determine if we are a good fit to work together we meet every week to conquer the items on your agenda. We partner together to talk about what you want, what is getting in your way of achieving it, create the steps to take to move forward, and to help you step into who you want to be going forward.
WHY SHOULD I INVEST AND WORK WITH A COACH?
A coach helps you find your blind spots, teaches you how to think differently, how to see your world differently. They are your cheerleader, and the relationship is a partnership.
A coach will help you identify your limiting beliefs and change them at a deep, subconscious level. They will challenge you to dig deep to understand what you really want out of life and create the action plan to move forward.
A coach provides accountability and a safe space for you to work towards your goals. You can achieve sustainable results quickly when partnering with a coach.
HOW DO I KNOW COACHING WORKS?
Coaching is a process. A lot happens and can be uncovered in a session. When I was in training, my instructor said, “The magic often happens between sessions.” It’s all about showing up, doing the work, and acknowledging what may be holding you back from doing the work.
